For each domain, the service is private as in the information for each domain is only available behind a secure database and can only be accessed via secure login to the site or by designated family admins. No personal information is hard-coded on web pages, it's only accessible when an authorized member logs in and requests to view certain data from the secure database. The login info is encrypted and only family members are provided the web site address. The subscribers' domain is blocked from search engine indexing for obvious reasons.

For extra security, family admins are notified of new registrations (name only) so they're aware immediately of authorized users, or family admins can specify a restricted access registration.

There are other public family services, but your data is shared/managed by strangers in the same location as other families. And after logging in, you have to find your family info while wading through advertisements and pop-ups, and the service isn't customized for your family.

The service is annual with a cost of $119.00, which includes your own domain name, 400MB web hosting space to use for any additional purposes, unlimited email accounts, private/secure backend database and a variety of other FREE web hosting features. Renewal cost for future years is only $80.00.
